李玖是一位没有学院背景的女性艺术家。在陪女儿了解绘画过程中接触到绘画，之后一发不可收，在本职工作之余，喜欢独自沉浸在热爱的“开心”世界埋头作画，二十多年来创作大小作品几百幅。
李玖说：“我的油画是自己的真情实感。”李玖的画表现意识强，用色大胆鲜艳，笔触粗放直率中隐含着细腻的感情。追求现代风格而兼顾传统，画风不受客观形态的约束，喜欢夸张、变形甚至诙谐的处理手法，偶尔也有抽象主义的尝试。在心理感受和思想深度上也越来越深刻和细腻，无论入画的是情绪的宣泄，还是爱憎的表现，抑或梦境的复制，也无论表达的是情绪、思想、历史、生活方式乃至其他什么东西，都在追求自我的真实情感。画作受到段正渠、白羽平、邢俊勤等著名艺术家的高度评价。
Li Jiu is a self-taught female artist without formal academic training。 Her passion for painting began when she accompanied her daughter in her art studies， and from there，she was drawn into the world of creativity.Over the past two decades， while managing her professional career， she has produced hundreds of works in various sizes。 As Li Jiu herself puts it： “My oil paintings are a reflection of my true emotions。”Her art is marked by strong expressive power， bold and vibrant colors， and brushstrokes that are both direct and unrestrained， yet carry a delicate emotional depth。 She blends modern styles with traditional influences， free from the constraints of objective representation， often using exaggerated， distorted， and sometimes playful approaches。 Occasionally， she ventures into abstraction。 As her work has evolved， it has gained increasing psychological complexity and emotional subtlety。 Whether conveying emotional release， expressions of love and hatred， or capturing the essence of dreams，Li Jiu’s paintings are always a pursuit of her own authentic feelings。 Her works have received high praise from prominent artists such as Duan Zhengqu， Bai Yuping， and Xing Junqin。
